Basic Ballet and Contemporary Dance Course

 

Basic Ballet and Contemporary Dance Course is intended for children aged 6 to 9. The course is designed to encourage creativity, develop dance expression, and build self-confidence in young children. It also serves as preparation for contemporary dance school.

 

Goals:

  • developing creativity and dance expression: through various activities and improvisations we encourage children’s imagination and expressiveness
  • learning the basics of classical ballet: children will learn basic ballet movements, as well as a sense of harmony and elegance in movement
  • body communication: through dance, children will learn how to express their feelings and desires using their body
  • memorizing dance phrases: children will practice memorizing and reproducing dance steps and present their own dance creations
  • building self-confidence: through performances and group support, children will gain confidence and awareness of their abilities
  • developing musical sensitivity: the course will encourage sensitivity to music and connecting movement with rhythm and melody
  • socializing through music, dance, and play: besides learning, the course offers opportunities for fun and social interaction through dance and music

Classes: Saturdays from 10:30 to 12:00

Start of classes: 4 October 2025

Duration: October – May

 

Instructor: Olga Čehić, choreography teacher, ballet dancer

 

Course price: 26 € per month (VAT included)
