From its very first day, the Public Open University Poreč has devoted great attention to supporting amateur activities of the citizens of the Poreč area. Investing in personal interests through community engagement has always had a positive impact on the culture and quality of life of the entire community. By encouraging creativity, togetherness and solidarity, local identity is supported and strengthened, and differences within the community are brought together.
Motivation is the main driving force of amateur activity, and it is the leaders, secretaries and presidents who hold everyone together and without whose efforts nothing would be possible.
The satisfaction of selflessly sharing knowledge and skills is immeasurable in emotional terms. Something that brings joy and enriches a person is certainly worth the time and effort, which is why amateur groups are always happy to welcome new members.
