
Poreč Open University is the project leader, with the Association Top Kamping Kvalitete and Mini karavan servis d.o.o., i.e. Polidor Camping Park from Funtana, as partners.
The project started on 10 April 2018 and lasted 24 months. It was funded by the European Social Fund under the Call Improving access of vulnerable groups to the labour market in the tourism and hospitality sector, published by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Croatia, and was implemented under the Operational Programme Efficient Human Resources 2014 – 2020.
The approved total value of the project is HRK 1,108,799.24, and it was financed in 100% of the total eligible project costs.
The Start IN Kamp project developed a new adult education programme for campsite management and maintenance, designed according to employers’ needs. Through the project, 40 unemployed participants acquire appropriate competences for work in the tourism and hospitality sector, thereby increasing their employability. To ensure high-quality and expert training, a programme for the professional development of teachers and mentors working with adults is also developed and implemented, including the specificities of working with vulnerable groups.
