Creative Advanced Learning Methods
ERASMUS +, KA1
Through the C.A.L.M. project within the ERASMUS+ programme, we are connecting with organisations that provide knowledge about contemporary teaching methods (use of digital tools, participant motivation, organising and delivering distance learning), in order to improve the delivery of our own services and adapt as much as possible to participants’ needs, thereby also meeting the needs and goals of the Institution itself.
One of the most important tasks of our Institution is to encourage and develop the community. We are therefore focused on raising the quality of our services by investing in human potential and developing innovative forms and methods of teaching, placing the participant and their needs at the centre of the learning process. During the latest analyses and evaluations of participants and teachers, a need was identified to introduce new teaching methods and solutions in course delivery, especially in foreign language learning programmes. Designing and implementing new teaching methods is an active process subject to constant change, so their planning and implementation requires new knowledge and competences, creativity, research and evaluation, revision and feedback from all stakeholders, which is also a guarantee of the quality of the service provided.
The C.A.L.M. project enables staff mobility, so three staff members will have the opportunity to attend a structured training course with the aim of acquiring competences in developing motivational strategies, course organisation and the use of innovative teaching methods. The second mobility includes participation in training aimed at acquiring competences in the use of digital teaching tools in combination with traditional ones, as well as implementing the latest strategies and methods based on the theory of multiple intelligences in foreign language teaching.

They say a project is successful if, during its implementation, a new project idea is born!
This is exactly what happened at yesterday’s workshop, where we brought together adult education specialists from our region. We shared the knowledge gained by participating in mobilities in Prague and Florence within the Erasmus KA1 project C.A.L.M. By holding such training workshops for teachers in our institutions and sharing knowledge with each other, we speed up internal processes and raise the overall quality of the educational offer in the County.
Together we are stronger – when we are bound by the same will!!!
Thank you to all the institutions for taking part.
