Teaching Assistant

– The programme can be attended free of charge using HZZ vouchers, for both employed and unemployed persons!

The education programme for acquiring the partial qualification of teaching assistant is delivered through regular instruction lasting 250 hours, with the possibility of conducting the theoretical part of the programme (guided teaching and learning) via real-time online transmission using virtual learning applications.

Learning outcomes are achieved partly through guided teaching and learning (90 hours), partly through work-based learning (122 hours), and partly through participants’ independent activities (38 hours).

Work-based learning includes solving problem situations and performing specific work tasks, partly in simulated conditions and largely in real conditions – in a school environment. Participants are encouraged to develop independence and responsibility in task performance, as well as collaborative relationships with others involved in joint work.

Entry requirements:

• Completion of a 4-year secondary school; in exceptional cases, 3 years
