Caregiver

– The programme can be attended free of charge using HZZ vouchers, for both employed and unemployed persons!

The education programme for acquiring the partial qualification caregiver in institutional and non-institutional care for older and dependent persons is delivered through regular instruction lasting 775 hours, with the possibility of conducting the theoretical part of the programme via real-time online transmission.

Work-based learning is carried out in a specialised classroom/lab/practicum where real problem situations are simulated. It also includes periods of workplace learning with employers.

Entry requirements:

• Possession of a prior qualification at level 1 of the CROQF
• Occupational medicine certificate confirming medical fitness for caregiver duties
• Minimum age of 18 years
