Caregiver

- The programme can be attended free of charge by using HZZ vouchers, for both employed and unemployed persons!

 

The education programme for acquiring the partial qualification caregiver in institutional and non-institutional care for elderly and infirm persons is delivered through regular classes in the duration of 775 hours, with the possibility of delivering the theoretical part of the classes via online streaming in real time.

 

Work-based learning takes place in a specialised classroom/lab/practicum where simulations of real problem situations are carried out. It includes periods of workplace learning with employers.

 

Enrolment requirements for the programme:

  • Possession of a prior qualification at level 1 of the HKO (completed primary school)
  • Occupational medicine health certificate confirming medical fitness for the work of a caregiver/female caregiver
  • At least 18 years of age

Duration of the programme: 775 hours

Credits (CSVET): 31 CSVET
