Bijelo – The Way I Want to Remember is a poetic filmic record shaped as a personal topography of memory. Through the language of movement and dance, the film explores the spaces that marked the author’s childhood and formative years.
Rather than following a conventional narrative, the film maps inner landscapes of remembrance through the presence of the body in transitional urban zones of Pula—bus stops, staircases, roadside edges, and the city’s old urban core. In this work, dance is the only constant that endures through time, acting as a moving reminder of long-lost places and emotions.
