Call for Artists to Participate in the 26th Street Art Festival Poreč!
The streets of Poreč, its historic old town and surrounding urban spaces, once again open their warm August embrace to artists of all kinds, inviting them to enrich the city with their creativity and leave a lasting mark on its centuries-old memory.
Musicians, dancers, actors, puppeteers, painters, sculptors, circus performers and acrobats, multimedia and visual artists, and all other creative minds – Street Art Poreč 2026 is waiting for you! Mark your calendars and reserve a place for a playful and relaxed celebration of creativity and art, taking place from 24 to 29 August 2026.
The festival is open to all artists, regardless of experience or professional background. Anyone wishing to share their world of ideas with thousands of passers-by, contribute a colourful piece to Poreč’s cultural mosaic, or present their latest or most inspiring work is warmly invited to participate.
Applications for Street Art Poreč are accepted throughout the year by submitting proposals to the Music and Performing Arts Department of the Public Open University of Poreč. However, the final deadline for this year’s festival is 5 July 2026, via the online application form available HERE.
In addition to the application form, applicants are required to submit supporting materials, including high-resolution photographs, to streetartporec@gmail.com, with the subject line “26th Street Art Poreč”.
The organiser reserves the right to select programmes based on available capacities and the quality of the proposed content. Applicants will be informed of the selection results by 1 August 2026.
Since 2001, the festival has successfully brought life, colour and artistic energy to the heart of Poreč. Performance locations include the city market, Freedom Square, the waterfront promenade, Lungomare, Matija Gubec Square and the Lapidarium of the Poreč Heritage Museum. Proposals for performances in less conventional urban spaces, such as the bus station or the Viale promenade, will also be given special consideration, further enriching the festival experience and expanding its presence throughout the city.
