Your English text is already very good and publication-ready. I would only make a few small stylistic and formatting refinements for consistency, clarity, and a more natural “call for applications” tone:

Dear lovers of choral singing, conductors, and singers,

We invite you to enrich a tradition that spans more than half a century with your voices! On 12 and 13 June 2026, Poreč will once again become a musical stage celebrating the Istrian musical scale, the Čakavian dialect, and togetherness through song.

“Naš kanat je lip” is not just a gathering; it is a guardian of identity and a place where outstanding amateur performance meets a genuine passion for vocal art. We invite you to share with us the beauty of choral harmony and to register your ensemble for participation in this year’s 54th edition of the event.

In addition to enjoying the unique atmosphere of Poreč, choirs have the opportunity to win valuable cash prizes for the best performances of works by Croatian composers based on the Istrian scale, with prizes amounting to €350 for choirs and €150 for vocal groups. Participants may also receive expert evaluation of their performance by a professional jury, with the option of a non-competitive performance without evaluation. The event also provides an excellent platform for networking and exchanging experiences with colleagues from across Croatia and abroad.

Regulations in brief

Compositions based on the Istrian scale and the Čakavian dialect. One composition by a Croatian composer may be in free style.
Programme duration: up to 8 minutes.
International choirs present a piece from their homeland, with one mandatory composition according to the Kanta regulations.

“Naš kanat je lip.” Since its establishment in 1973, this event has been dedicated to preserving and promoting the Istrian musical scale, one of the most valuable elements of intangible cultural heritage protected by UNESCO. Named after the iconic composition by Ivan Matetić Ronjgov, the Gathering brings together artists whose creative work is rooted in authentic local melody and the Čakavian dialect.

In the Istrian dialect, “kanat” means song and singing, and through this event it becomes a symbol of identity and a creative bridge between tradition and contemporary expression. Please complete the application form below and become part of a tradition that celebrates the beauty of the Istrian kanat.

See you in Poreč, where the song never stops!
