About the project
The year is 2021 and we are all facing new challenges, where the topic of equal opportunities in education has become even more important. Poreč Open University is focused on even better inclusion of persons with disabilities in its formal and non-formal adult education programmes and on adapting art and culture workshops, because participation in art and culture programmes is one of the best ways of including people with reduced opportunities in the community.
Through the EQUALITY project within the ERASMUS+ programme for Key Action 1 in the field of adult education, the lecturers and staff of the Institution will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to create an appropriate and supportive environment for persons with disabilities. Through mobilities and participation in structured courses, in addition to the professional development of staff and lecturers, experience is gained by getting to know working practices in different countries and institutions, international cooperation is achieved, and the training results are incorporated into the work of our institution.
