ABOUT THE MUSIC SCHOOL

The Slavko Zlatić Elementary School of Music has been operating successfully for 29 years now. It offers a complete musical education within the course of six years (six grades). Through this program the children interested in music develop a habit of listening to and experiencing valuable music pieces. The program teaches them the skills they need to create their own music, helps them develop a taste in music and encourages individual creativity.

ORGANIZATION

Before attending our elementary school of music a child must attend a yearlong preparatory course. The best age of the children at the time of enrollment is between 7 and 8 years of age. During the preparatory course, the children develop various musical and vocal capabilities. They spend time together; they sing, draw and dance in a relaxed atmosphere and develop love towards music and the feeling of rhythm. The children then pick the instrument they feel most comfortable with.
